Union Certificate/Patent – Preparation Course UP1026

Aim

The aim of this course is to provide intensive preparation for experienced inland navigation personnel for the official EU boatmaster examination (Union Certificate/Patent – UP) in accordance with ES-QIN. The examination can be completed entirely in German or in English.

Description

This 15-day preparation course is designed for experienced crew members who already meet the required number of service days to be admitted to the official UP examination.

River Academy delivers all theory content relevant to the exam and prepares you systematically for both the theoretical and practical examinations, which are conducted directly on campus.
The practical examination is carried out on CESNI-certified simulators that accurately reflect the operational requirements of modern inland navigation.

The Union Certificate/Patent is issued exclusively by the competent transport authority.
River Academy provides the training, guides you through the exam preparation, and offers administrative support if required.

540 service days + VHF radiotelephone certificate
or
180 service days as steersman + VHF radiotelephone certificate

Registration for the theoretical and practical examination with the transport authority

Theory fee: €166 (KOLOK / QR code)
Practical fee: €500 (KOLOK / QR code)
