Sport Boat Licence – Inland

Aim
After completing the course and passing the exam, you will be authorized to safely and independently operate recreational boats up to 20 meters in length (up to 15 meters on the Rhine) and with an engine power exceeding 15 HP (over 5 HP on the Rhine) on inland waterways such as the Rhine, Moselle, Danube, and others.
The course spans a period of 6 days. For the Sport Boat Licence Inland, two in-person instructional sessions are scheduled (two classes and an information evening discussion). The total duration is approximately 4–5 hours. Details and timings can be found below.

The Sport Boat Licence Inland is an official, internationally recognized licence for operating motorized recreational boats on inland waterways. The course combines theoretical instruction and practical navigation training to optimally prepare participants for the exam.
