Radar Licence (Special Authorisation for Radar) – Combined Course
13.09.2025 – 16.09.2025
Theory and practice
Aim
As a holder of the special authorization for radar (formerly radar license), you can enhance your role as a vessel operator by conducting qualified and authorized radar-assisted voyages. This contributes to the economic success of your company by helping you meet loading and unloading deadlines, ensuring you remain a reliable partner for the dispatcher.
Description
Anyone wishing to carry out radar-based navigation must, in addition to the necessary licence for the route to be navigated, also possess the special authorisation for radar or another radar certificate recognised by the CCNR. If the operator lacks this basic qualification, he is not allowed to continue the journey in conditions of poor visibility. This means that the agreed loading and unloading deadlines are at risk in adverse weather conditions.
