Passenger Shipping Expert – Refresher Course

Aim

After you have successfully passed the final examination, the Water and Shipping Administration will extend your certificate of competence for passenger shipping for a further five years. This means that you can continue to perform important safety tasks for your passengers.

Description

The Rhine Vessel Inspection Regulation and the Inland Waterways Vessel Inspection Regulation govern the training of safety personnel on board passenger ships. According to these regulations, safety personnel with different tasks must be on board passenger ships when passengers are on board. We offer you flexibility in scheduling – before, during or after the season – and are not tied to a specific location. According to the Rhine Vessel Inspection Regulation or the German Federal Inspection Regulation for Inland Waterways, the expert for passenger shipping must take a refresher course recognised by the competent authority if the still valid certificate of competence is to be extended for a further five years.
