You will be able to assess the risks associated with the transport of dangerous goods and apply your knowledge to minimise potential incidents.

Description
To increase safety during the transport of dangerous goods, an ADN expert must be present on board vessels carrying dangerous goods. New ADN experts must first complete an ADN Basic Training Course. This training is conducted as part of a course approved by the competent authority.
To obtain the ADN Certificate of Specialised Knowledge, candidates must pass a professional examination conducted by regional offices of the German Federal Waterways and Shipping Administration (GDWS). Upon successfully passing the ADN examination, the GDWS issues an ADN Certificate of Specialised Knowledge valid for five years.
