ADN Basic Course (CH)

Aim

You are able to assess transport-related hazards associated with dangerous goods and use your knowledge to reduce any potential incidents to a minimum.

Description

To increase safety during the transport of dangerous goods, an ADN-qualified expert must be on board vessels carrying dangerous goods. “New” experts must first complete an ADN Basic Course. This training programme is conducted as part of a course recognised by the competent authority. To obtain the ADN certificate of competence, specialist examinations are conducted by GDWS regional offices. After successfully passing the ADN specialist examination, the GDWS issues an ADN certificate of competence with a validity of five years.

The examination and issuing fees for the
ADN Certificate of Competence
are not included in the above-mentioned course fees.
Registration for the course does not automatically register you for the
ADN examination.

five weeks
before the respective examination date.
