Aim
You will be able to assess transport hazards related to dangerous goods and use your knowledge to minimize potential incidents.
Description
To increase safety in the transport of dangerous goods, an ADN expert must be on board dangerous goods vessels. “New” experts must first attend an ADN basic course. This training is provided as part of a course recognized by the competent authority.
To obtain the ADN certificate of competence, the Port of Switzerland (Schweizerischen Rheinhäfen) carries out specialist examinations. After successfully passing the ADN specialist examination, the Port of Switzerland issues an ADN certificate of competence that is valid for five years.

The Schweizerischen Rheinhäfen examination and certificate issuance fees for the ADN Certificate of Proficiency are not included in the above-mentioned prices.
Registering for the course does not automatically register you for the ADN exam.
