Radio Communication (Recreational Boating)

After completing the course and passing the exam, you will be authorized to:

• Operate VHF radio communication in inland navigation according to the UBI (Certificate of Competency for VHF Radio in Inland Navigation), allowing participation in radio communication on inland waterways such as the Rhine, Moselle, or Danube.
• Operate maritime radio services according to the SRC (Short-Range Certificate), required for vessels with mandatory equipment in coastal and maritime navigation.
