Combination of Dry Cargo Transport and Tanker Transport
Aim
Assessing transport risks associated with dangerous goods and use your knowledge to minimise any incidents.
Description
To increase safety when transporting dangerous goods, an ADN expert must be on board dangerous goods vessels. ‘New’ experts must first attend an ADN basic course. This training measure is carried out as part of a course recognised by the relevant authority. To obtain the ADN certificate of competence, GDWS branch offices conduct specialised examinations. After successfully passing the ADN specialist examination, the GDWS issues an ADN certificate of competence that is valid for five years.
