Aim
Assessing the transport risks associated with chemicals and use your knowledge to minimise any incidents.
Description
To increase safety when transporting dangerous goods, an ADN expert must be on board ‘dangerous goods vessels’. For the transport of chemicals, the ADN expert must also take an ADN advanced course on chemicals. The training is carried out as part of a course recognised by the relevant authority. The GDWS branch offices conduct exams for the ADN certificate of competence for chemicals. After successfully passing the exam, the GDWS issues an ADN certificate of competence for chemicals that is valid for five years.

The GDWS examination and issuance fees for the ADN competency certificate are not included in the above-mentioned prices.
Registration for the course does not automatically register you for the ADN examination. Please use the following examination application for timely registration.
The registration deadline for the ADN examination is five weeks before the examination date.
